Horizon Christian School's boys soccer team opened its District 5 season Thursday with a 7-5 road win at City Christian of Portland. The win brings the team to 2-3 overall (1-0 in league).

The game was quite a turnaround from the first week of the season, when Horizon lost 6-2 to City at the Trout Lake tournament. In the Sept. 8 match, the Hawks had no answer for City’s front-line players and had trouble consistently stringing together any offense.
