Columbia High School’s track and field team continues to move athletes up the Trico League rankings as its plies mid-week meet schedule.

The Bruins were at La Center on April 10, when Coach Jim Anderson’s team recorded almost 60 personal bests and had eight individual winners. Leading the way on the boys side was senior Luke Harrison, who won the discus at 129 feet, 9 inches and the shot put at a PR 38-4.5. Harrison’s PR in the discus (136-5) is ranked No. 2 in the Trico. Teammate August Lorincz won the 400 meters in a personal best 53.39 seconds and was second in the 200 in 25.81.
