Bruins earn Trico all-league basketball awards

WHITE SALMON — Seven basketball players (four girls and three boys) from Columbia High School earned WIAA Class 1A Trico all-league honors for their performances during the 2025-26 season.
For the girls, junior Joella Posini earned first-team all-league honors, averaging 7.6 points per game, 8.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists. Seniors Halle Kock and Sara Miller both earned second-team all-league honors. Kock averaged eight points per game, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists, while Miller put up 7.8 points per game, 7.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
Senior Claira Camacho was named as an honorable mention selection by a vote of the league’s coaches. Camacho averaged 5.5 points per game, 4.15 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
The Bruins’ head Coach, Justin Frazier, was selected Trico coach of the year. The Bruin girls finished the regular season tied for second place in the Trico League with an 11-3 record and were 13-7 overall. Columbia had a 12-game win streak during the regular season.
Leading scorer Hunter Wang, a senior, was first-team all-league boys pick, and junior Caleb Reynolds was received honorable mention. The Bruin boys finished 8-16 overall and were 4-10 in the Trico League.
