ROWENA — Sparked on Wednesday afternoon, the Rowena Fire has drawn the attention of the Oregon State Fire Marshal (OSFM). Structural firefighters and an incident management team has been dispatched to the Gorge at the direction of Oregon Governor Tina Kotek and the OSFM.

The fire has grown to 500 acres and prompted evacuations.
