For over 25 years my family and I have driven through The Dalles on our way to visit family in Utah. We’ve stopped for gas and food but it’s been pretty much just a quick stop before we are on our way again. Yesterday, however was a different story. Just a few miles after leaving The Dalles heading west, our car broke down. Thankfully we were able to find a wide section on a shoulder of I-84 to pull over, but it was over 100 degrees and the situation looked dismal.

However, there was a very bright spot, as two young men from your town were extremely helpful and kind. We called a dealership looking for a car rental, but were told they were closed.
