We already have one in Hood River.This rapacious family of billionaires owns more wealth than 40 percent of the American people.Why can’t we bring a decent business like CostCo, or better yet, a co-op owned by local people?We don’t need Wal-Mart’s penny ante, part-time jobs that no one can live on, nor do we need their chintzy, condescending attitude toward employees.Surely we can do better.P.G.
