Letter to the editor: Honored to serve

We have come a long way in upgrading the sewer system, water systems, repairing the slide problems and establishing the 3 dewatering wells, revitalizing the historic nature and repairing downtown through Urban Renewal, partnering on the underpass and roundabout with ODOT, reconnecting to the river with the new dock, revitalizing and expanding the airport facilities in partnership with Klickitat County and the Port District and the list goes on. It is not time to think we are finished by any means; there is still much work to be done to keep our beautiful city ripe for continued economic development and job growth.

I am sure the new council members will step up to the table and continue to keep our city vital and moving forward.
