Central Gorge Master Gardener volunteer Anne Gehrig welcomes the help of her grandson, Orrin Apland, in the Herb Garden at the OSU Hood River County Extension Service campus. Extension Services are located in nearly every county in the United States and build healthy communities through a variety of programs. One of these programs is Master Gardeners where sustainable gardening is taught to home gardeners of all ages.
