HOOD RIVER —The Hood River County School District (HRCSD) Board of Directors continued its search for a permanent superintendent by inviting the community to meet one of the two finalists at the Hood River Middle School auditorium Thursday, April 11 from 7-7:30 p.m. A community meet-and-greet will follow, from 7:30-8 p.m.
Spanish interpretation will be available for the candidate forum, which will be live-streamed.
Due to an unexpected family death, Bill Newton, HRCSD interim superintendent, could not attend the April 4 forum; Meagan Dawson, Kulshan Middle School principal, Bellingham, Wash., participated April 4, sharing information about herself and answering three questions.
