An Oregon State Police traffic stop last Thursday led to the arrest of a Pasco, Wash., man after an OSP drug detection canine and trooper discovered more than 4 pounds of crystal methamphetamine concealed in a vehicle along Interstate 84 in Hood River.

On Jan. 24, at approximately 3:05 p.m., an OSP senior trooper stopped a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada displaying Washington license plates for a traffic violation westbound I-84 near milepost 62. The vehicle’s driver was identified as Omar Huerta-Garcia, 29, from Pasco.
