Monty Raddle Braden of The Dallesport, Washington, was born March 16, 1958 in Branson, Missouri, to William Henry Braden and Mary Lou Braden also of Taney County, Missouri.
He is survived by his brothers, William Arter Braden (Amy) of Southaven, Mississippi, and Marty Lyndelle Braden (Debbie) of Battleground, Washington; and sisters Maria Estelle Cannon (Dan) of Hood River, Oregon, and Tina Manette Braden of Milwaukie, Oregon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
At the time of his passing on Aug. 31, 2025, Monty was employed by Summit Cedar Reman, also of Dallesport. He was a member of The Church of Christ in Dallesport.
Monty lived his adventurous life with enthusiasm and a big smile! He could tell a wonderful story and leave you wondering which parts were fact and which parts were ”his version.” He enjoyed a wide variety of outdoor activities and friends all over the country.
A memorial service for Monty will take place at Anderson’s Tribute Center, 1401 Belmont Ave., Hood River, Oregon, on Sept. 12 at 11 a.m., with a reception and graveside service to follow.
