On Aug. 29, 2025, Janet (Guler) Hylton passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. Janet was born Jan. 11, 1940, in White Salmon, Washington, to Tony and Eunice Guler.
Janet is preceded in death by David Hylton, her husband of 65 years; her great-granddaughter, Kasia Marie Hylton; and sister Joyce (Guler) Stoller. Janet is survived by her three children, Toni (Steve), John (Kerri), and Kim (Jim). Janet is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; sister Lois (Guler) Byron (husband John) and brother Norman Guler (wife Karen); as well as many special nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Per Janet’s request, no services will be held. Janet requested that in her memory, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities, 2620 Commercial Ave., Portland, OR 97227 (website, rmhoregon.org) to honor Kasia Marie Hylton.
