The US Department of War has published the second release of declassified and historical Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) - or UFO - files on Friday (May 22). It comes as part of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE), with additional files released on a rolling basis. The US Department of War said: "Since the site’s launch on May 8, 2026, WAR.GOV/UFO has received over 1 billion hits worldwide, highlighting the unprecedented levels of interest in both this topic and the Trump administration’s historic transparency effort."
