Most people who thought about joining a Community Supported Agriculture this year had their plan in mind: sign up in spring, get vegetables through summer, done. Then life happened, the newsletter got buried and the idea slipped through. A second wave of farms across the country is reopening enrollment for fall boxes right now, and for some of what ends up in those boxes, the wait actually pays off in flavor.
