The Twin Bridges Historical Museum, located in Lyle, opens June 1. There will also be a yard sale to raise fund for museum upkeep.

“They have been working in the down time to create interesting exhibits,” said a press release.
On that day they will also hold one of their annual fundraiser events — a yard sale in the basement and around the entryway from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Exciting items await you to open your wallet and help the museum successfully continue by keeping the exhibits in pristine condition, continued the press release.
Balch Cemetery clean up slated
The annual Lyle/Balch Cemetery Clean Up will be held on May 18 starting at 9 a.m. Organizers ask that you bring your weed whackers, wheel barrows, and rakes for the cleanup, which is planned prior to the annual meeting that will follow at noon.
