WASCO CO. — Nobody was injured after a loosened dip-net handle started a multi-car domino reaction on I-84 at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Oregon State Police (OSP) media logs.

The dip-net handle was strapped atop a Ford pickup, traveling in I-84’s slow lane, when the rope broke and the pole became a hazard. The driver pulled over — but the pole still extended into the lane of travel.
