THE DALLES — Jan. 15 will mark the official completion of the four month long exterior renovation project on the local Dairy Queen Grill and Chill Restaurant in The Dalles. With the interior renovation having taken place in 2021, the local chain will officially be a “Generation Three” store front.
“We appreciate [the community’s] patience during the remodel because you didn’t even know this was a Dairy Queen for quite a while,” Owner David Land said. Land and his wife, Barbara, have owned the storefront since 2016. "We do appreciate everybody that’s hung in there with us during the time of the remodel, and now that it’s all done, we just hope everybody comes in, takes a look [and] have some great food."
The Dalles Dairy Queen Grill and Chill is located at 403 Cherry Heights Road. They are open daily from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with drive thru opening at 11 a.m.
