Hood River SWCD — Hood River Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual native plant sale will be April 4 from noon to 5 p.m., and April 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3005 Experiment Station Drive. Pre-order conifers and shrubs and preview the wildflowers that will be available to purchase day-of at hoodriverswcd.org/plant-sale.
Soroptimists Plant Sale —Soroptimists of Hood River are selling flower baskets to raise money for college scholarships and grants to single mothers. Choose from a large selection of 12-inch sun baskets ($45) or 10-inch sun or shade baskets ($35 each). Baskets can be purchased through April 15 from any Soroptimist member or at Soroptimisthoodriver.square.site. Baskets will be ready for pickup at Vanguard Nursery, White Salmon, from April 30 to May 3.
Raíces Plant Sale — The Next Door Inc.’s (TNDI) annual Raíces plant sale returns May 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 965 Tucker Road in Hood River, in collaboration with the Raíces Cooperative Farm. To learn more, please visit nextdoorinc.org/economic-development-services.
St. Joe plant sale — St. Joseph’s Church hosts its annual plant sale on Saturday April 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot across from Harvest Market in White Salmon. Find Gorge-hardy vegetables, herbs, annuals and perennials provided by Vanguard Nursery.
