Do you already enjoy gardening but dream of having a beautiful greenhouse to spend your winters in paradise? Or maybe your interests are a bit more modest like finding a way to have salad greens in March and October?
STEVENSON — Stevenson Grange 121’s 2026 Community Resiliency program, the Fall Plant, Bulb, and Seed Swap, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., downstairs in the Stevenson Library Gallery.
Participants will learn how to grow marigolds, discover their visual appeal and cultural uses, and explore how marigolds can play a role in integrated pest management.

Fall has settled into the Gorge, and we’ve seen our gardens begin to fade. The fresh vegetables that have filled our kitchens have nearly finished, leaves have begun to turn and fall, and the joyful blooms of our summer flowers have started to wither.
