The Friends of Mount Adams will present a free public lecture, “Rare Carnivores of Mount Adams” on Nov. 9, 7-8 p.m. at the White Salmon Community Library Meeting Room, 77 N.E. Wauna Ave.

Speakers will be Dr. Jocelyn Akins, Research Director of the Cascades Carnivore Project and a wildlife biologist from Hood River, and Dr. Jeffrey Lewis, Mesocarnivore Conservation Biologist for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
