THE GORGE — The Columbia Gorge Education Service District Board of Directors has offered a contract for superintendent to Dana Pedersen of Bend.

 Pedersen has been principal at Ensworth Elementary School in Bend since 2015. She has worked in the Bend-La Pine School District in a variety of roles since 1998. Prior to Ensworth Elementary, she was the director of elementary programs supervising and coordinating multiple programs, including English language Learners, Family Access Network and all Federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act grants.
