Lorraine Evonne Holtmann, 84, of White Salmon, Washington, passed away on April 18, 2026. Lorraine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward “Jerome” Holtmann. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family deeply.
She was a proud alumna of Columbia High School and a faithful member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Lorraine also worked for many years doing fish marking at local hatcheries. She and her husband also owned the Canyon Theater (Bingen Movie Theater) for a period of time.
She is survived by her children, Jay Holtmann and Becky Woosley, and their spouses, Karalee Holtmann and Tim Woosley; her grandchildren, Derek Holtmann, Austin Holtmann, Adrienne Craig, and Kara Kajikawa; their spouses, Brooke Holtmann, Kim Holtmann, Timothy Craig, and Alson Kajikawa; her cherished great-grandchildren, Rylee, Peyton, Emily, Tanna, Kaleb, and Ej; and her beloved dog, Nikki, and cat, Kona.
Lorraine embraced life with style. She loved dancing, baking, watching westerns, reading mystery/thriller novels, and above all, camping. Her favorite spot was Trout Lake. Lorraine was always dressed to the nines, hair done, nails done, and looking fancy wherever she went.
She will be remembered for her warmth and love of family. She will be deeply missed.
A private family service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson’s Tribute Center, 1401 Belmont Ave., Hood River, Oregon. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.AndersonsTributeCenter.com.
