HOOD RIVER — The USDA Forest Service, Region 6 Incident Medical Specialist hosted its annual training at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn last month. Drama students from Columbia High School in White Salmon served as volunteer “patients” during the training as a community service project.

The students preformed as patients during scenarios that included car accidents, burns, broken bones and other medical scenarios. Incident Medical Specialists “treated” them by performing necessary medical are per symptoms exhibited.
