More than 200 runners, walkers, and community members registered for the Columbia Gorge CASA Fall Family Run on Oct. 4 at the Mark O. Hatfield Trailhead in Hood River. Costumes added extra color and creativity to the trail; pictured above is the Milam Family, dressed up as a pile of leaves. Victor Coffman was the top male finisher in the 5K with an impressive time of 18:00 (5:47 pace), followed by Jeff Fisher at 19:08 and Cael Price at 20:44. On the women’s side, Rebecca Thistlethwaite led the pack with a time of 26:02, with Bennie Cushman and Krista Cushman close behind at 26:37 and 26:38, respectively.
