Fill Your Pantry returns — The annual Fill Your Pantry Market will open from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Rockford Grange. The one-day, in person event is a bulk-focused farmers market and vendors will accept cash, credit, debit and SNAP EBT. Some participating vendors will also accept Oregon’s Farm Direct Nutrition Program vouchers (WIC and senior benefits). No Kings — Indivisible protests return on Oct. 18. Among the 2,200 organized nationwide, locals will meet in The Dalles on W. Sixth Street between Cherry Heights and Webber Street from noon to 2 p.m. In White Salmon, protesters will meet on Willow Street from noon to 2 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at the downtown salmon fountain in Hood River.
