Call for Submissions: Stevenson Community Library wants Columbia Gorge Artists

Stevenson Community Library is accepting submissions for the 45th annual Artists of the Gorge exhibition. Entry is free and open to all artists aged 18 and older from Washougal to The Dalles and all of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Artists may submit two recent works, including paintings, drawings, sculpture, wood pieces, fabric art, and other media. Submissions are due at the library by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Jurors for this year’s exhibit are Amy Nowatzki, Jen Smith, and Kate Vincent. Works selected by the jurors will be displayed at Stevenson Community Library and online Oct. 7 - 31. An opening reception with music and refreshments will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m.
