Bell Design Co., Bingen, recently celebrated its 30th business anniversary. The civil engineering and land surveying company’s office is located at 900 W. Steuben St.
BINGEN — Bell Design Company (BDC) celebrated an important milestone earlier this month: 30 years in business. A 30th anniversary open house celebrated this achievement on Sept. 12 at the office located at 900 W. Steuben St.
Providing civil engineering and land surveying services to the Columbia River Gorge and beyond, BDC offers a wide range of services including residential and commercial structural engineering; civil engineering for roads, bridges, septic, water and sewer systems; and land surveying services such as surveys, land divisions, and topographic surveys, according to a press release.
“Bell Design is looking forward to continuing to serve families, cities, and counties in our local area and beyond,” said the press release. “BDC enjoys supporting and engaging with our local communities, businesses, schools and service organizations.”
The family-oriented business was founded by brothers Stoner Bell and Dev Bell in a small office on Green Street in White Salmon. Their second location was at the east side of Bingen in the current location of Airbus/Aerovel. They moved into the current location on the west side of Bingen in 2014. Their 21 current employees include several family members and other local employees who enjoy living and working within the Gorge.
“In fact, it is not unusual to find grandparents and grandchildren running around the office on any given day or a group of local residents enjoying a lively conversation in the lobby,” said the press release.
