Gorge Native American Collaborative held a back to school cultural event and health fair at Columbia Gorge Community College’s The Dalles campus last month. Kindergarteners through 12th graders received school supplies, and families also enjoyed a community meal. One Community Health’s mobile medical unit was also available for walk-ins. Pictured are Cody, Paulah and Ezmae with their new school supplies. The sisters performed a traditional Native American dance during the event, which drew 131 Native youth.
