Plane crash

A single-engine aircraft crashed yesterday, Aug. 31, near an orchard on Trout Creek Ridge Road south of downtown Parkdale, killing its two occupants. 

PARKDALE — Two locals, James Crain and Scott Perry, died after their single-engine plane crashed in the upper valley yesterday, Aug. 31. 

At around 11:30 a.m., the Hood River County Sheriff's Office (HRSCO) received multiple reports of a plane crash and located the site near an orchard on Trout Creek Ridge Road, just south of downtown Parkdale, an hour later. Crain and Perry were found deceased.Â
