HOOD RIVER — The Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum (WAAAM) will host the 2026 Hood River Fly-In at the Hood River Airport on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12-13. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the hundreds of airplanes that are expected to arrive from across the country for this event.
GOLDENDALE — The first of two new aircraft hangars, each with room to store 10 airplanes, is drawing lots of interest, as Columbia Gorge Regional Airport Manager Jeff Reynard reported at the Sept. 1 county commissioner’s meeting.
HOOD RIVER — Join the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum (WAAAM) for a special presentation by author Martin Middlewood on Feb. 14 at 2 pm. Middlewood’s talk will focus on the history of Pearson Field and the early days of Pacific Northwest aviation.
HOOD RIVER — The Gorge Composite Squadron of Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is hosting an open house from 10 a.m. to noon at the yellow hangar at 3650 Airport Drive on Saturday, Sept. 21. People interested in aviation are invited to attend.
