Annual Hood River fly-in slated for Sept. 12-13

HOOD RIVER — The Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum (WAAAM) will host the 2026 Hood River Fly-In at the Hood River Airport on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12-13. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the hundreds of airplanes that are expected to arrive from across the country for this event.

Admission to the Fly-In includes entrance to the museum, many activities, and access to the event grounds where visitors are able to roam among the visiting airplanes and talk with the pilots. There will be food both days from local restaurants, with the Hood River Eye Openers Lions Club serving a pancake breakfast both mornings.

Biplane rides and Ford Trimotor rides will fly both days, giving passengers an aerial view of the Hood and Columbia Rivers, the City of Hood River, and the orchards in the valley.

Fly-in hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Admission is $25 for adults and seniors, and $10 for youth ages 5-18 and active duty military personnel, or get the Two-Day Admission Deal of $30 for adults and $13 for youth. Fore more information, visit www.waaamuseum.org or call 541- 308-1600.
