GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Former Hood River Valley High School athlete and resident, Parker Kennedy, was named head coach of the track program at Class 4A Glenwood Springs High School in Glenwood Springs, Colo. Kennedy steps into a position that had been held by former head coach Blake Risner, who retired after 30 years.

“It was cool to be able to step in underneath the coach who had been there for 30 years and learn from his leadership,” Kennedy said.
