THE GORGE — “The watershed was just a tool. That was the tool that I could use that would let me make sense of telling the story of a tribal creation story, a wildlife biologist, a pear orchardist, waterwater management, and this river that connects us all,” said media creator Sarah Fox at an Oregon Humanities conversation, moderated by Adam Davis, on Dec. 7.

“The Watershed Rock Opera” is a multimedia project of Fox, award-winning media producer and host of the “Sense of Place” event series, and artistic partners. Operas often tell distant, dramatic stories. This opera gets as personal as a local raindrop.
