Viemeister sisters sing Aug. 18

The performance will take place at 2 p.m. at the Riverenza with a “hint of film noir.” The sisters, both trained opera singers, will be performing a variety of arias and duets accompanied by Barbara Haren.

Jena is working on a master’s degree from the Boston Conservatory and has a bachelor’s of music in voice from Portland State University.

Anna has vocal performance degrees from Portland State University and Manhatten School of Music and has been working as a professional opera singer in New York City for the past four years.

Tickets ($15 for regular admission and $10 for seniors) are on sale at Klindt’s Booksellers and the Riverenza. A free glass of wine or juice and chocolate-covered strawberries from Anzac Tea Parlor will be provided to each attendee.
