HOOD RIVER — What happens when a community comes together for the animals who need us most? You get Woofstock 2026.
On Friday, September 18, animal lovers, music lovers and members of the Columbia Gorge community will gather in Hood River for an unforgettable night of live music, catered food, friendship and fundraising — all with one very important purpose: helping the animals of the Columbia Gorge Humane Society.
Woofstock isn’t simply a concert. It is a celebration of the countless dogs and cats who arrive at the shelter scared, lost, abandoned or searching for someone to give them another chance.
It is about the animals who don’t understand why they were left behind. The ones who wait. The ones who have been overlooked. And the ones who are still hoping that somewhere out there is a person who will finally say, “You’re coming home with me.”
Every ticket purchased and every auction bid helps provide the food, shelter, medical care and love these animals need while they wait for that day.
The evening will feature El Loco, a ZZ Top tribute, followed by the amazing 10-piece Spirit of Earth Wind and Fire tribute band. Guests will enjoy a catered dinner, live music and both a live and silent auction, with Shawn Wilkinson serving as auctioneer.
“Woofstock is our community coming together for animals who have no voice and no way to ask for help,” says the Columbia Gorge Humane Society. “It is an opportunity to celebrate how much good we can accomplish when we come together. Every ticket, every auction bid and every person who joins us helps give an animal another day of care, another chance at a family and, ultimately, another chance at home.”
