Mt. Adams Resource Stewards announces completion of the second Mt. Adams Community Forest purchase — a 284-acre property known as the Pine Flats Forest between Glenwood and Trout Lake.

The property stretches along two miles of the Trout Lake Highway adjacent to Conboy Lake National Wildlife Refuge. The Pine Flats property will be managed for sustainable forestry, public access and education, habitat conservation and other objectives identified through Mt. Adams Resource Stewards work with local communities.
