Partial closure of State Route 141, day and night, outside of White Salmon to begin on April 13

During the closure, through traffic will not be allowed within the project area, and drivers will need to use alternate routes. Clearly marked detours and traffic control will be in place to help guide travel and maintain safety. 

Emergency vehicles and school buses will be allowed through the work zone to maintain critical services and access.

In a press release, the city acknowledged that the closure will impact daily routines, and appreciated the public’s patience as this essential work moves forward. These improvements are an important step in strengthening the reliability of the municipal water system for the long term, the city said. 

Updates will be provided through the City’s website, Voyent Alert system, and local media outlets.
