William E. Poland Jr., age 79, passed away March 23, 2026, at the Veterans Facility in The Dalles, Oregon. He was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Cohasset, Massachusetts, the son of William and Helen Poland. Bill served this country honorably in the U.S. Air Force, raised his family on Cape Cod and was a former longtime resident of Southwest Florida.
He is survived by his son Christoper Poland (Melissa) and their grandson Aiden, of White Salmon, Washington; and his daughter Tracy Poland West (Keith) of Exeter, New Hampshire and his beloved grandchildren Kaleb and Harper West.
Bill was a storyteller with a quick wit, who loved to read, spend time at the ocean and being with his family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Naples, Florida. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.AndersonsTributeCenter.com.
