Main Street took over the Civic Auditorium ballroom Saturday night with a “March Merch Madness Kick Off” fundraiser, “Mardi Gras—A Chefs Choice Dinner.” The event featured music, dinner and a benefit auction, all in support of the The Dalles Main Street program. Participating restaurants included Duck Wall Fruit Co., Petite Provence, SweetHeart Bakery, Barge Way Pub, Zim’s Brau Haus, Lilo’s BBQ, Last Stop Saloon and Kainos Coffee. The 21-and-over event was well attended.
