The Dalles — Donna Delikat, advocate for SHIBA (Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance), will be in The Dalles Tuesday, March 19, presenting a free class, Medicare 101.
The program will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Columbia Gorge Community College, The Dalles Campus, 400 E. Scenic Drive.
This free workshop is offered by the Oregon Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance program (SHIBA). SHIBA is a federally funded, nationwide program designed to help beneficiaries of Medicare navigate their way through the complicated Medicare system.
Students will learn about the A, B, C, and D’s of Medicare. Find out when and how to enroll and gain an understanding of costs. Get information on where Medicare recipients in the local community can go for help with their choices.
