HOOD RIVER — Columbia Center for the Arts, in partnership with HRATS (Hood River Area Trail Stewards) and Hood River Rock and Roll to School will present Filmed By Bike, a film festival celebrating all things bike.
Filmed By Bike is a touring film festival that features the world’s best bike films. Columbia Arts will screen two segments on films “Bike Love” and “Adventure Bike” on August 23.
“Bike Love” is at 5:30 p.m. and “Adventure Bike” at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for a single segment for $15 or $25 for both.
Hood River Rock and Roll will host a ride from May Street School Playground to and from the theater before the film festival.
“Whether you’re a hardcore cyclist or a casual cruiser, this is a celebration of bike culture you won’t want to miss. Let’s ride, watch, and raise a glass to the power of the pedal!” read a press release. Please arrive early and be prepared to depart at 5 p.m.
A raffle hosted by HRATS, a food cart outside the art center for food, beverages and popcorn inside complete the day.
