‘Parkdale’ at Solera March 29

“Parkdale” is a band featuring Alonzo G., Ryan McAlexander and Tim Ortlieb and they’ll be at Solera Brewery on Saturday, March 29, from 6-9 p.m. No cover charge. Solera Brewery, 4945 Baseline Dr., Parkdale; 541-352-5500.

Western-swing dance April 3

The Hood River Elks Club welcomes on Thursday, April 3, the Simcoe Boys Band playing country-western and swing music dancing. Dancing will begin at 7 p.m. and admission is $8. Kids free at Discovery Center

Tess Barr CD release March 29

Local blues singer Tess Barr is excited to finally announce the long-awaited release of her new CD, “Do What You Want.” The band will be celebrating at the CD release party at Double Mountain Brewery on Saturday, March 29, from 8-11 p.m. This new CD was several years in the making and consists of 12 tracks covering a broad range of music.
