Historic Columbia River Highway

Crews remove debris after a landslide blocked the highway last week.

THE GORGE — The Historic Columbia River Highway has reopened between Larch Mountain Road and Vista House after a March 11 landslide closed the route just east of Larch Mountain Road.

Crews monitored the active slide area as conditions improved, then inspected the hillside and cleared debris to safely reopen the highway.
