Mid Columbia Fire Rescue

Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue crews responded to a structure fire behind Habitat for Humanity Restore in the early morning of Oct. 24. Crews were assisted by regional partners from Hood River, Dufur and Dallesport. MCFR responded with Engine 21, Engine 22, Engine 23, Engine 24, Truck 21, Medic 21 and 23 and Chiefs 21, 22, 23, 25. City Police and Public Works assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.

THE DALLES — A fire on Mt. Hood Street, reported around 6 a.m. Oct. 24, burned a structure, trees and brush near Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, according to The Dalles Police Department (TDPD) media logs. No injuries were reported, according to Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue (MCFR).

MCRF responded with four fire engines, a truck, two medics and four fire chiefs, along with engines and task forces from Dallesport, Dufur and Hood River. Sixth and westbound Mt. Hood streets were closed temporarily.
