Leaders from Adventist Health Columbia Gorge and Celilo Cancer Center welcome comfort donations from Tonkin of the Gorge as part of the Subaru Share the Love campaign. During each Share the Love campaign, Subaru and participating retailers contribute a set amount for every new vehicle purchased or leased to hometown organizations. Tonkin of the Gorge chose to again support their local cancer treatment center. “These blankets and care packs are a reminder to our patients that they are surrounded by a supportive community,” said Amanda Brown, director of Adventist Health Columbia Gorge Foundation. “Tonkin of the Gorge has shown up for our cancer center time and again, and their generosity leaves a lasting imprint. It’s the kind of care patients can truly feel on their hardest days as well as on the days when they’re finding their strength again.”
