Sheriff's Office sets up `tip line'

"There is a message machine if a detective doesn't answer," said Sheriff Chris Mace. "People can either leave their name and a call back number, or stay anonymous. Any information on any given case will be accepted, as well as the whereabouts of people with outstanding warrants for their arrest and narcotics information."

Mace said rewards could be offered for information that solves a criminal case.

"Naturally, if a person wants to be eligible for a reward, we would need their information for contact later," Mace added.
