If you don't know what is worn under a Scotsman's kilt, or what it feels like to have your imagination filled with Irish mist covering green fields...or especially if you do, you'll want to catch The Muses live this Saturday, March 21, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the White Salmon Valley Community Library's Sprint/Baker Gallery.
This unique evening of music is underwritten by the Friends of the Library.
The whole family will be enchanted by the Colorado musicians Tanya Brody and Matthew Gurnsey, playing a plethora of exotic instruments. Brody plays the harp, hammered dulcimer, penny whistle, and many more instruments, but it is her angelic voice that will captivate your heart.
Gurnsey plays the concertina, bohdran, bowed psaltery, mandolin and numerous other instruments while singing along with a contagious sparkle in his eye that is sure to make you smile.
The duo will take you on an inspiring trip to the Celtic Isles saving you the price of airfare! With beautiful voices creating bewitching vocal harmony, The Muses are a Celtic experience you'll not want to miss.
