The Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce is again sponsoring the Klick...Klickitat Photoshoot, a popular event showcasing the diverse beauty of Klickitat County.
Both amateur and professional photographers are invited to participate in the summer-long event.
This year's theme is "A Summer in Klickitat County" and a grand prize of $1,000 will be awarded for the best overall photo. Additional prizes of first, second and third place will be awarded in adult and youth (under 18) divisions.
Any photo taken from Klicktiat County between May 28 and Sept. 3, 2001 is eligible. Each entry must be submitted as an unmatted 8x10 or 8x12 print in either vertical or horizontal format.
Entrants may submit up to three photos and the entry fees are $30 for adults and $20 for youth.
All entries will be on display at the Huckleberry Festival in Bingen on Sept. 7 to 9, with contest winners being honored at an awards ceremony on Sept. 8.
