On August 9, 2001, the Klickitat County Sheriff's Department entered the residence of Robert Beebe 704 S. Baker St., in Goldendale, pursuant to a valid search warrant.
Several items of interest were found indicating both possession of methamphetamine for delivery and personal use.
Beebe and his girlfriend, Jacque Pollard, were taken into custody.
On October 9, 2001, the Klickitat County Prosecuting Attorney's Office requested the Superior Court of Klickitat County find probable cause to issue charges against both Beebe and Pollard for violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act -- possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. The court found probable cause for the charges.
On November 19, 2001, both individuals appeared in court and pled not guilty.
On June 19, 2002, Beebe and Pollard appeared in the Superior Court of Klickitat County for a jury trial. The matters had been joined and were tried together.
On June 20, 2002, after a two-day trial, the jury returned a verdict of guilty against Beebe and Pollard.
Sentencing has been set for July 15, 2002.
