In a move seen as vital to the Gorge Heritage Museum, the Bingen City Council has voted 3-0 to approve a "request for proposals" (RFP) to hire an architect to develop plans for enhancements to the city-owned museum building.

City officials estimated that the cost for the architectural planning is likely to be between $10,000-$15,000, with the money expected to come from Bingen's Community Development Fund.
